WWE Raw Viewership Decreases Despite Big Main Event and Historic Announcement

This week’s episode of WWE Raw had a lot of hype heading into the broadcast, as WWE had previously announced a huge #1 contender’s match featuring Bobby Lashley vs Roman Reigns with the winner advancing to face Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam.

The show also featured the advertisement of a historic announcement in the form of the first-ever all-women’sĀ PPV event Evolution, which kicked off the show and featured the return of Vince McMahon.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Raw averaged 2.779 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.866 million viewership average for the post-Extreme Rules episode of Raw.

-The first hour averaged 2.817 million viewers
-The second hour averaged 2.821 million viewers
-The final hour averaged 2.701 million viewers
