It looks like plans for the second brand-exclusive SmackDown pay-per-view are in the works, as an official page for WWE No Mercy has popped up on WWE’s official website.
As noted, WWE has already announced WWE Backlash as the first SmackDown-exclusive pay-per-view event since the WWE Draft and brand extension. The WWE Backlash show is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 11st in Richmond, Virginia.
Scheduled for October 9th in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center, the WWE No Mercy pay-per-view will be the second brand-exclusive event to air on pay-per-view for SmackDown Live. Talent currently included in the advertising for the event are John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and The Miz.
Ticketmaster will be holding the official pre-sale for tickets to WWE No Mercy on Tuesday, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, August 19th at Ticketmaster.com.
