WWE WrestleMania Axxess sessions featured live in-ring action from Brooklyn Pier 12 during WrestleMania weekend and the schedule for the matches to be aired on WWE Network was recently announced. I was in attendance for many of those matches and will provide results for what will air, so if you don’t want the endings spoiled now is the time to stop reading.
In the NXT versus NXT Alumni special that will air on Sunday, April 14, Tyler Breeze defeated Roderick Strong in the final match to take place that night at Axxess. Also, Harper defeated Dominic Dijakovic, Kassius Ohno bested Aiden English and Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish defeated Sanity’s Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe.
In the Cruiserweights Collide special that will air on Wednesday, April 17, Mustache Mountain’s Tyler Bate of NXT UK earned a victory over 205 Live’s Brian Kendrick and NXT UK Superstar Jordan Devlin defeated 205 Live’s Akira Tozawa. I didn’t see the results of the announced matches between Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews and Ariya Daivari and Mike Kanellis or the triple threat with Albert Hardie Jr., Ligero and Gran Metalik. I did see Hardie defeat Mike Kanellis in a singles match at some point, but not sure if this will be shown on the WWE Network.
In the Women Collide special that will air on Wednesday, April 24, SmackDown Live’s Sonya Deville scored a win over NXT’s Io Shirai in the main event. NXT UK Champion Toni Storm defeated NXT’s Bianca Belair and WWE main roster Superstar Nikki Cross in a triple threat. NXT UK Superstar Piper Niven earned a victory over SmackDown heel Zelina Vega. NXT Superstar Candice LeRae opened the action with a win over Kay Lee Ray. Also, Aliyah and Vanessa Bourne got a victory over Kavita Devi and Xia Li and Kacy Catanzaro won by disqualification over Reina Gonzalez after Gonzalez attacked her with a cowbell on a rope in matches that apparently will not be aired on WWE Network.
I didn’t see the Brands Collide show so I can’t report the results of that special that will air Wednesday, May 1.
