As previously reported, Kevin Owens recently underwent surgery on both of us knees after being written off WWE television in a post-match attack at the hands of Bobby Lashley.
The plan was doctors to go in and explore the extent of the damage in each knee, repair what they can and figure out if he will need more serious surgery. Thankfully, a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that while damage to one of the knees was a bit more than anticipated, “neither surgery was major” and the former Universal Champion has “already started rehabbing both knees”.

Right now it appears that Owens will be out of action for four or five months, with a return potentially coming sometime in February or March. Obviously the hope is that he’ll be cleared in time for to work a WrestleMania program, but that will all depend on how how the rehab process goes.
