Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler faced off Tuesday after WWE SmackDown Live and 205 Live ended during a night of action at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Nakamura defeated Ziggler in a show that seemingly didn’t go over well for fans in the arena or watching from home.
Several fans have voiced displeasure with the winner of the six-pack WWE Championship No. 1 contender match being Jinder Mahal. The WWE Universe in the arena were audibly backing Sami Zayn.
For whatever reason, the lineup of matches didn’t even bring the same level of buzz SmackDown has come to expect on TV broadcasts. Viewership of Tuesday’s show dropped off a cliff from last week’s episode, going from 3.105 million to 2.544 million viewers.
