— The All In event yesterday went significantly over time with the Marty Scurll vs Kazuchika Okada reportedly going over by over 10 minutes. This actually led to the main event being cut and the entire show wrapped up with only seconds to spare which is why the PPV seemed to abruptly go off the air after the match concluded.
— In an interesting note, WWE has made it routine for them over the years to focus on promoting only one event/PPV at a time on their weekly TV shows. This past week and likely for the next two weeks as well, the company is having to promote three shows all at once – Hell in a Cell on September 16, the Australia Super Show-Down on October 6 and the WWE Women’s Evolution PPV for October 28.
— As noted before, former WWE wrestler Big Cass is scheduled for his first indie event on September 21 for the promotion Big Time Wrestling. In an advertisement that was initially released, he was being billed as “Big Cazz” as an attempt to get around any WWE trademark issues, which likely was not going to succeed. The promotion has now changed the ad to show him as “Big C” and formerly known as Big Cass.
