Jet Airways Going The Kingfisher Way As Government Asks Public Sector Banks To Bail Out Airline

Things have been going from bad to worse for cash strapped budget carrier Jet Airways. The Naresh Goyal-led airline hit turmoil some time back and has failed to recover since. Every so often the airline has been making headlines for canceled services and unpaid salaries of its staff.

Various attempts to flush fresh funds to the airline even by Etihad Airlines which owns 24 percent stake in the Indian company failed to make any headway.

As of now 1/3 of the entire fleet of Jet Airway which operated 119 flights have been grounded for operational reasons.
