Impact drops below 100,000 viewers following time change

Unsurprisingly, this week’s Impact drew the promotion’s lowest ratings since debuting on Pop TV.

Last night’s Impact averaged 98,000 viewers on Pop. This was the first episode to air since Impact moved time slots, with the show beginning at 10 p.m. Eastern time and ending at midnight. In the old time slot, last week’s Impact averaged 189,000 viewers.

This week’s show was headlined by Johnny Impact retaining his Impact World Championship against Fenix. 

The rating in the 18-49 demo was a 0.04. That’s unchanged from the past couple of weeks.

The previous low mark for Impact was 161,000 viewers for the episode that aired on December 14 of last year, which went up against WWE’s Tribute to the Troops special. The previous low for this year was the 168,000 viewers that Impact averaged on August 9.

Thursday Night Football, which still airs against most of Impact, averaged over 14 million combined viewers on Fox and the NFL Network for last night’s Houston Texans vs. Miami Dolphins game. Impact also faced competition from the NBA on TNT, but there was no World Series game on last night.
