Former WWE Attitude Era wrestler Al Snow on Wednesday tweeted his explanation of his arrest Monday in Winchester, Kentucky.
According to Snow, a typo caused the arrest:
To clear up my arrest, I had a ticket from two years ago, broken light and expired insurance ID card. Took care of it, but thanks to a typo … there was a bench warrant for me I was completely unaware of. My car was having trouble, three police approached and asked for ID, and I was taken … in and paid a $234 fine and was released. A typo resulted in my arrest, and now I’ve spent time in the big house lol. Be careful.
Snow was arrested on a charge of failure to appear, according to Raj Giri of Wrestlinginc.com
The 53-year-old Snow had two tours with WWE, working from 1995 to 1997 and 1998 to 2008. He was an eight-time champ with WWE, claiming six Hardcore Championships, one European Championship and one tag team belt.
Snow is best known for his ECW gimmick of carrying a mannequin head to the ring as his sidekick, which he named Head.
