The English independent company WhatCulture Pro Wrestling will air the first part of its final WCPW Loaded tapings this weekend as the company begins to rebrand itself.
The company started as wrestling extension of the Whatculture pop culture site in 2016 featuring many of the personalities from the website’s Youtube videos such as Adam Blampied, Adam Pacetti, King Ross, Jack the jobber, and many others. Part of helping build WCPW was its free Youtube program Loaded that would air every week.
In the year that the company has run the program had its ups and downs with logistics issues and then had its return delayed when Youtube decided that pro wrestling wasn’t profitable forcing the company to rethink its strategy with the free show before bringing it back.
Now that WCPW is splitting from the website and will operate on its own as Defiant Wrestling beginning in December, it has been decided to end the Loaded series with a multi-part episode. The first part will air on Friday and feature Woman’s champion Kay Lee Ray and David Starr vs. Veda Scott and Mike Bailey along with a match between Bad Bones and Gabrial Kidd and a tag title match between champions War Machine facing the Hardcore Champion Primate and Jimmy Havoc.
The show airs on Twitch on Friday afternoon and on the WCPW Youtube Channel
on Saturday afternoon (3EST/2CT).
