Check Out Austin Aries’ New Look! Also, CM Punk Denies WWE Return

The wrestling world was shocked when Austin Aries was released from his WWE contract a few weeks ago, but the “Greatest Man Who Ever Lived” has been making the most out of it. His social media posts after the release seemed to indicate that he was at peace with his departure from the company and he is now going to be moving on to other projects. Austin Aries currently is serving a 90-day no-compete clause that does not expire until October 5th of this year, so his next move in the wrestling business remains a mystery as of now. In the meantime though, Aries has recently decided to unveil a brand new look for himself.
As seen in the photo above, Austin Aries has decided to do away with his signature beard that has made him so recognizable throughout his career, and he also has eliminated the remainder of his hair as well. Aries was reportedly released from his WWE contract on July 7th due to being disliked by WWE officials backstage, although some reports claim that Aries actually asked for his release due to being unhappy with his role as a cruiserweight on 205 Live. He has since opened up a new exclusive merchandise store for himself on Pro Wrestling Tees, and he also will be releasing his autobiography “Food Fight” soon enough as well.

Fans have been waiting for a while now to hopefully hear some sort of news regarding former WWE Superstar CM Punk returning to the company. Some rumors were picked up throughout the past week that WWE apparently had interest in bringing Punk back to the company. However, in a recent interview with ESPN Radio, CM Punk let fans know that a return to wrestling just simply isn’t happening anytime soon. When asked if he misses wrestling, Punk responded with, “Not at all.” As far as another UFC fight, Punk said that he hasn’t spoken with Dana White in months, but he should hopefully know if he’ll be fighting again in about a month or two.
