Card SPOILERS for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn, William Regal Returns

WWE will be returning to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the fourth year in a row later on this year to host all of their SummerSlam festivities in the building. SummerSlam itself, Raw, and Smackdown will all be hosted inside of the venue this August, but before all of those shows take place, the NXT brand will be taking over when they returned with NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV the night before SummerSlam. NXT Takeover events are typically critically acclaimed and beloved by fans, and the next event in Brooklyn looks like it should definitely continue that trend as all of the matches for the event this year have just been revealed during the latest set of NXT television tapings from Full Sail University.
Of course, the official announcements for all but one of these matches have not aired on NXT yet, so please be warned that these are SPOILERS posted courtesy of PWInsider. Get ready to see the following matches take place when NXT returns to Brooklyn for Takeover on August 18th of this year:
– Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa: Triple Threat match for the NXT Championship

– Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler: Singles match for the NXT Women’s Championship
– Mustache Mountain vs. The Undisputed Era: Tag Team match for the NXT Tag Team Championships
– Ricochet vs. Adam Cole: Singles match for the NXT North American Championship
– EC3 vs. The Velveteen Dream

It has been a while since beloved NXT General Manager William Regal has appeared on WWE programming. Regal has not only been absent from the NXT shows, but he has also had to miss out on the past two television tapings and the recent United Kingdom Championship Tournament special due to a health issue that he has been dealing with lately. Wrestling Inc. has confirmed that Regal finally returned to NXT during last night’s TV tapings in Full Sail University. While Regal could always return earlier than expected as part of a backstage segment that was not shown to the live NXT crowd last night, it was noted that Regal’s expected return to NXT will be broadcasted as part of the August 15th edition of the show.
