According to PWInsider.com, Braun Strowman is set to undergo surgery this coming Monday in Birmingham, Alabama. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
As seen this past Monday night on WWE Raw, Braun Strowman was written off the show after being attacked by Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin, with the trio smashing his arm in between two sets of steel ring steps.
Strowman is set to undergo basic surgery on his elbow soon in order to mend painful bone spurs that have been plaguing him for awhile now. The extent of the damage won’t be known until he is on the operating table, so it’s difficult to say when exactly he will be back, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the expected timetable right now is four weeks.
If Strowman is out a full four weeks from the date of surgery, he will obvious miss next month’s WWE TLC pay-per-view where he is announced for a match against Baron Corbin that has multiple stipulations attached.
The company is hoping that he will actually be ready sooner than four weeks, which is why they went ahead with announcing the match for TLC. Unless something unexpected is serious wrong, he will definitely be back in time for the Royal Rumble, where he is expected to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
