As we noted last week, top Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper has been offered the role of Vince McMahon in the upcoming biopic “Pandemonium”, which focuses on the life and career of the WWE Chairman and CEO.
According to PWInsider.com, Cooper is currently awaiting a revised copy of the movie’s screenplay before he makes a decision as to whether or not he will accept the lead role.
The report adds the current plan is to begin production on the movie in the spring of 2018, however that timeframe will all depend on casting and pre-production finalization.

The movie will be directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the team that helmed the pilot episode for the TV show “This Is Us”, and the Tina Fey vehicle, “Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot”.
The script for the movie had previously been written back in 2015, however when WWE Studios came onboard as producers, the script underwent numerous rewrites to remove content that the McMahon family did not approve of, and did not factually matchup with the real life history of Vince McMahon. In addition to WWE Studios, Aperture Entertainment’s Adam Goldworn will co-produce the movie.
