Backstage News On WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Show, WWE HOF Rating

– One of the reasons WWE wanted two matches on the WrestleMania 31 Kickoff Show was so the fans who were watching the two hour pre-show would have more live content to occupy their time. They also wanted to free up time on the pay-per-view portion of the show so they wouldn’t be forced to rush things, which ended up happening anyways.

– Speaking of the Kickoff Show, WWE originally considered bumping the Divas match to the pre-show instead of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, however they were worried about negative backlash from the fans due to the “#GiveDivasAChance” movement.

– The 2015 WWE Hall Of Fame special that aired after RAW on Monday night drew 2.105 million viewers.
